A clutch is a component of the drive train that engages and disengages the power transmission from the driving shaft to driven shaft. The clutch is located between the gearbox and the engine. During a gear change, disengaging is required and the clutch facilitates this disengagement. Clutches need periodic servicing and replacing. When it comes to clutch repairs and replacements, you can count on LTM Auto Truck & Trailer in Pontiac, MI 48340. We have engine experts who will ensure that all your truck or fleet clutch issues are addressed.
The differential is another component of your truck's drive train. The differential lets your truck make turns with ease (remember, the different wheels of your truck travel varying distances when turning). The differential should be serviced regularly. Your fleet of trucks requires periodic differential repairs and replacement. At LTM Auto Truck & Trailer, we offer differential repair, rebuild, or maintenance services for trucks.
A driveline is made up of all the parts of the powertrain (the main components that generate power and drive your truck), but excluding the transmission and engine. The driveline, which is located after the transmission, changes depending on whether the vehicle is rear-wheel, front-wheel, or four-wheel drive.
With time, moisture, pressure, heat and load cause gear oil to breakdown leading to lubrication failure and worn out gears. This will result in noisy engines and poor truck performance. To solve driveline problems, you need to have worn-out lubricant and engine parts replaced. To have this done by experts, call 248-333-3772 or visit LTM Auto Truck & Trailer today. We will ensure that you experience smoother gear shifting.
A truck's transmission adapts the output mechanical power from the engine to drive the wheels. The main purpose is to reduce the number of revolutions made by the crankshaft by use of interlocking gears. The common types of transmissions include manual transmission, automatic transmission, semi-automatic transmission, direct shift gearbox (DSG), TipTronic gearbox, and continuous variable transmission (CVT).
With time, a truck's transmission wears out and starts developing problems. Transmission problems are known to cause mechanical breakdowns. When this happens, you need to have the transmission repaired, rebuilt, or replaced. For everything from transmission rebuilding to transmission repair and transmission replacement, trust LTM Auto Truck & Trailer. Call us or visit us today.
Amazing service, amazing staff, and amazing pricing, the only shop that would touch my car besides the dealership. They figured out the electrical issue and fixed it in less then an hour and then showed me how to fix it if it happened again. I am now a life long customer and will refer every person who asks me where they should take their care to get fixed.
I wouldn?t go anywhere else! I?ve been a customer for years. Honest, hardworking people there. Great service every time. Even over at their Quick Lube location in Auburn Hills.
I always enjoy bringing my van here for service. They take good care of it and take me home to wait if needed and pick me up when van is ready. All employees are very pleasant, there are snacks and coffee and tv if you are waiting.
Had i front break hang up & was cherry red they found the part & repaired the brakes & got me on my way for a decent price! It was a motorhome & the dealers wouldn't touch it! Hope i don't have to use them again but if you do you will be HAPPY!
I have never written a review before but LTM is one of the most friendliest, qualified and knowledgeable "state of the art" repair facilities in the world. Thank you for taking all the time and patience to repair my truck.
Everyone is literally awesome, and the mechanics have done a very thorough and solid job.
The only shop I'll take my bus to have it repaired. Fast and friendly service. Great staff.
Love the staff. Fantastic work. Very happy!
Awesome staff, great price, and they knew their stuff, look forward to doing more business with them
I dropped off my motor home for what I thought was a simple exhaust leak problem. It turned out to be much more complicated than we thought. The technician agreed to stay late that night to get it fixed so I could leave on a planned cross-country trip. I was very pleased with their service.
Always good to know I can trust the people that work on my vehicle. I have been to other shops and drug through the mud of it needs this and that. LTM was honest with what needed to be fixed and what could wait. Their free inspection showed me all angles of the car and what I couldn't see. Very impressed, I will be back next time I need repairs.
Found out I didn't need a new car!! Old Betsy is all fixed up! Thanks LTM, I will be back!
